Elston Gurley

1668 Isaac Loomis son of Deacon John & Elizabeth (Scott) Loomis.  He died at age 20 in 1688.

1888 Rosena Matney the daughter of Orville & Louisa (Brown) Matney in Seymour, MO. She married John Key who was born in Indiana in 1884.

1895 Elston Gurley in Macoupin Co. IL the son of James & Lou (Speer) Gurley.  The family moved back to Wayne Co., IL ca. 1898.  Elston was a farmer and lived at the edge of Wayne City on his father’s farm.  He died in 1969 in Fairfield, IL and is buried in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.

1895 Bert Lathrop son of Gilbert & Harriet (Roney) Lathrop.  He died 1980 in Olney, IL and is buried in Crest Haven Memorial Park in Lawrence Co. IL.

1902 Frank Phillips.  He married Velma Wilkin in 1926 the daughter of John & Mary (Smith) Wilkin.  They both died in 1989.

1802 Michael Getz & Catherine Grove in Rowan Co. NC. Catherine may be the same person as Catherine the daughter of John & Susan (Fox) Grove.

1890 Delbert Clark & Ada Delawder.  Delbert born 1864 in Lawrence Co. OH was the son of Levi & Emily (Rose) Clark.  Ada born 1872 in Lawrence Co. OH was the daughter of Henry & Arminta (Burns) Delawder.  They had at least one son.  Delbert died 1947 in Lawrence Co. OH.  Ada died in Proctorville OH in 1956

1963 Gerald Legg & Patty Robertson. Patty is the daughter of Laland & Vivian (Morger) Robertson.  They have three children.

Ca. 1975 William Dugger & Christal Shaw. Christal is the daughter of Lavern & Freda (Shields) Shaw.  They have two children.

2002 Dewayne Talbert and Stephanie White.  Stephanie born 1965 in Mt. Vernon, IL was the daughter of Warden & Betty (Richardson) White.  She married 1) Mark Lowery and had a son.  Dewayne was her second husband.  Stephanie died 2011 at her home in Panama City, FL.  She is buried in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.
