1866 James Gurley son of Willis & Elizabeth (Yandle) Gurley in Illinois.  He died 1884 and is buried in Gurley Cemetery in Massac Co., IL.

1880 – Flora Irwin in Wayne Co. IL the daughter of Corbin & Charlotte (Lathrop) Irwin.

Marriages:

1910 – Alfred Maxwell & Mary Gurley.  Alfred born 1855 was the son of Joseph & Elizabeth (McCain) Maxwell.  Mary born 1855 in Wayne Co. IL was the daughter of Leonard & Nancy (Warren) Gurley.  Alfred was her fourth husband and they had one son.  Alfred died before 1920 as Mary is listed as a widow on the census.  She lived in Flora, IL and died there in 1931.  She is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.

1929 – Malcolm Lathrop & Hazel Henry in Sumner, IL.  Malcolm, the son of Orson & Lena (Steward) Lathrop was born 1909 in Sumner, IL.  Hazel the daughter of E.C. & Rosa (Schick) Henry in Sumner in 1909.  Malcolm served as postmaster in Sumner between 1932 and 1937.  He operated a Maytag agency between 1937 and 1942 in Olney, IL.  During the 1940’s he worked as a bank examiner and in 1948 he began working at the Onarga First National Bank.  The couple had four children.  Malcolm died in 1954 in Onarga, IL and is buried in Sumner Cemetery.  Hazel died in Onarga in 1983 and is also buried in Sumner Cemetery.
