1792 Kentucky becomes a state.

1857 John Colclasure son of Warren & Sarah (Spiker) Colclasure.  He died 1930 in Clay Co. IL.

1897 Golda Lathrop in Golden Gate, Wayne Co. IL the daughter of James & Rosa (Kemps) Lathrop.  She died 1983 Mt. Vernon, Jefferson Co. IL and is buried in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.  Golda was Elston Gurley’s first wife so she is related on both sides of the family.

Paula Erkman daughter of Wilburn & Pearl (Riley) Erkman, see below.  Paula married Benny Smith.

Staci Bolton daughter of Bob & Barbara (Lathrop) Bolton

Emily McKibben daughter of Bruce & Debbie (Blackford) McKibben

Jeremy Christy son of Jamie & Jennifer(Smith) Christy

Here we begin the traditional month of weddings . . . we'll have to see how many family members participated in this tradition.

1591 William Doggett & Avis Lappage in Boxford, England.  William was the son of William Doggett born 1557 in Birford, England.  Avis was born 1568 in Boxford the daughter of Thomas & Agnes (Gael) Lappage.  The couple had 10 children.  William died 1610 in Boxford.

1943 Marshall Hall & Opal Erkman in St. Louis, MO.  Marshall was born 1917 and died 1976 in Jefferson Co., IL. Opal was born in Hamilton Co. IL the daughter of John & Anna (Heady) Erkman.  She and Marshall have two children.

Ca. 1943 Ralph Robertson & Lucille in Eskridge, KS.  Ralph the son of Amos & Lula (Cravens) Robertson was born 1899 in Sims, Wayne Co. IL.  He died 1992 in Denver, CO and he is buried in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Thornton, CO.

1946 Harold Lathrop & Paulette Tesson in France.  Harold the son of William & Nora (McCulley) Lathrop was born 1920 in Johnston City, Johnson Co. IL.  Paulette born 1919 in Montoir, France the daughter of Joachim & Eugenie (Landrin) Tesson.  Harold died of a heart attack in 1968 on his farm in Lawrence Co.  Paulette died in Sumner, Lawrence Co. IL in 1985.  The couple didn’t have any children.  They are buried in Sumner Cemetery.

1952 Wilburn Erkman & Pearl Riley.  Wilburn was born 1926 and was the brother of Opal (Erkman) Hall above.  Pearl the daughter of James & Alleen (Henderson) Riley was born Hamilton Co., IL 1930.  Wilburn was a World War II veteran and was an oil field worker afterwards.  Pearl worked as a nurse’s aide in Hamilton County Memorial Hospital. They were the parents of three children.  Pearl died 1990 in St. Louis, MO and Wilburn in McLeansboro, Hamilton Co. IL in 2001.  They are buried in Oddfellows Cemetery in McLeansboro, IL.

1973 Robert Evans & Laura Bond in Basin, WY.  Laura is the daughter of Henry & Mary (Farhat) Bond.  She and Robert have a daughter.
