1666 – Nicholas Rittenhouse son of William Rittenshouse.  He died in 1734.

1728 – Hannah Lathrop daughter of Esq. Samuel & Deborah (Crow) Lathrop.  She died in 1732.

1808 – Benjamin Johnson in Richland, PA son of Benjamin & Abigail (Roberts) Johnson.  He married Tacy Strawn in Pennsylvania.  Benjamin died 1849 in Pennsylvania at age 41.

 

1859 – de Lafayette Madison Fitzgerald in Louisville, IL the son of William & Emily (Smith) Fitzgerald.  He died in 1930 in Iola, IL and is buried in Iola Cemetery.

1872 – Lydia Maier daughter of Joseph & Clara (Erkman) Maier.  She died in 1873.

1897 – Gertrude Vanderwaal wife of Earl Miller

ca. 1907 – Vida Land in Iola, IL wife of Lawrence Fitzgerald.  She died 1925 in Iola, IL.

Marriages:

1846 – Johnson Fitzgerald & Willie Smith in Princeton, IN.  Johnson born ca. 1780 in Virginia was the son of James & Jane (Bruce) Fitzgerald.  He married 1) Unknown ca. 1800, 2) Margaret Eyers 1812 in Knox Co., IN.  Willie was his third wife.  Willie was born 1825 in Kentucky and she married 1) Reuben Alsop. Johnson died of typhoid fever in Gibson County, IN in 1866.  Willie died 1887 in Indiana and is buried in White Chapel Cemetery in Gibson Co., IN.  Johnson had at least 11 children.

Johnson’s probate record is found in Gibson County, Indiana:

In the matter of the estate of Johns Fitzgerald dec’d. Pet. To sell R.E.

Willis Howe administrator of said estate shows to said court that said decedent died intestate, the personal assets of said estate amount to about $950.  That the debts of the estate so far as they have come to the petitioner’s knowledge amount to about $1160.00 including the $300.00 due the widow and expense of administrator showing an insufficiency of personal estate to pay debts of about $210.  That the decedent died the owner in fee of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ Sec. 15 T2S, R11W in the county aforesaid of the purchase value of $600.  That the decedent left surviving him his widow Willie Ann Fitzgerald who is the owner of the undivided one third part in ____ of said real estate during  her natural life.  She being a second wife without children and the following children and heirs to wit: Rachel McCumber (?), Sarah Lance, William Sullivan, Jane Nell Ninze (?), Jane Fitzgerald, Amanda Perkins, William Perkins, A____ Bullard, McM______, Mary Ballard and Eliza Montgomery.

1932 – James Sanders & Ruby Erkman in Carmi, IL.  James was the son of John & Louisa (Hatcher) Sanders born in 1905.  Ruby was the daughter of Joseph & Laura (Bingman) Erkman born 1908 in White Co., IL.
