Birthdays:

1729 Elijah Janes son of William & Abigail (Loomis) Janes

1858 Charles Dreiling in Berlin, Germany, husband of Magdalena Erkman.  Charles died 1936 in St. Petersburg, FL.


1927 Charles Hinterscher son of Laurence & Edna (Smith) Hinterscher.  He died in 1968 when his car went into Fox Creek near Olney, IL.

Daniel Doescher husband of Janice Lathrop

Betty Leturno daughter of John & Norma (Lathrop) Leturno

Anniversaries:

1651 John Rockwell & Sarah Ensign in Windsor, CT.  John born England in 1627 was the son of William & Susanna (Capen) Rockwell.  He immigrated with his parents at age 10.  Sarah died in 1659.  She and John had three children.  John married 2) Deliverance Haynes.  He died in 1673.

1707 Joseph Barber & Mary Loomis in Windsor, CT.  Mary born 1680 in Windsor, CT was the daughter of Nathaniel & Elizabeth (More) Loomis.  She and Joseph had 8 children.

1860 Charles Carter & Martha Lathrop in Lawrence Co. IL.  Charles was born in 1833 Fayette Co. IN.  Martha was born in Cross Plains, IN 1839 the daughter of Russell & Cynthia (Powell) Lathrop.  She moved with her family to Lawrence Co., IL  at age 1 ½.  She and Charles had 7 children. Charles died in 1913 and Martha died the next year.  They are buried at Pleasant Hill/White House Cemetery in Lawrence Co. IL.   

1877 John Smith & Mary Simmons in Illinois.  John born 1849 in Clay Co., IL was the son of William & Clarinda (Benefield) Smith.  Mary was born in Aurora, IL in 1877.  They had 11 children.  She died in 1925 in Clay Co. IL.  John died in 1937 in Clay Co. and is buried in Ingraham Cemetery, Clay Co. IL.

1933 Howard Robertson & Edith Erkman.  Howard was born 1913 in Hamilton Co. IL the son of Charley & Martha Robertson.  Edith born 1913 the daughter of John & Anna (Heady) Erkman.  According to the 1940 census Howard worked in a lumber mill and Edith worked in a dress factory.  The couple had two children.  Howard died in 1992 in Carmi, IL and Edith died in 1999 in Carmi, IL.  They are buried in Ten Mile Cemetery, Hamilton Co. IL.
