Birthdays:

1644 John Lathrop in Barnstable, MA, son of Rev. John & Anna Lathrop, died 1727.   John was a sea captain and married 1) Mary Cobb 1672 in Plymouth MA and 2) the widow Hannah Fuller in 1695.

1657 twins Unnamed Powell, she died the next day.  And Rowland Powell, children of Rowland & Isabelle (Button) Powell.  Rowland II died 1712 in Lebanon, CT.  He married Elizabeth the daughter of Joseph Truman and had 6 children.

1913 Ray Osborn in Wayne Co. IL, son of Louis & Idella (Robertson) Osborn.  Ray died Feb. 2, 1929 in Wayne Co. at the age of 15.

Anniversaries:

1629 William Beasley & Joyce Peacocke in Wooten Wawen Parish, Henley, Warwickshire, England.  The couple had 5 known children.

1845 William (?) Hand & Eliza Gurley in Massac Co.  Eliza was born 1829 in NC the daughter of William & Polly Gurley.  She and William had at least 3 children.

Bert & Ruby (Gurley) Musteen

1933  Bert Musteen & Ruby Gurley in Evansville, IN.  Bert was the son of William & Nannie (Trent) Musteen.  He died 1972 in Cameron, MO and is buried in Cameron Memory Gardens.  Ruby was the daughter of James & Lou Emma (Speer) Gurley.   She died in 1984 in Fairfield, IL and is buried in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL. This was a second marriage for both and they had no children together.  They lived on a farm outside Cameron, MO until Bert’s death. Ruby worked as a midwife and nurse practitioner.
